Comox Valley Kayaks has been in operation since 1992.  We have grown and evolved to become one of the premier kayaking shops on the West Coast.  We feature many different brands of kayaks and gear.  We like to cater to the beginner and the expert and everyone in between.  We’re enroute to most of the top kayaking destinations on Vancouver Island.

Attention 2010 Snow to Surf Renters!

We are now (February 2nd) taking Snow to Surf Reservations.  We offer both Canoe and Kayak Rentals.  Rental cost for kayaks are $45 for a fiberglass kayak and $35 for a plastic kayak. The kayak rentals include: a P.F.D, bilge pump and paddle float.  Canoe Rentals are $58 and include 2 P.F.D’s and a bilge device. 

• Kayak Rentals: We deliver and Pick up from the Race location (Comox Lake)
• Canoe Rentals:  Renters must pick up Canoes at Comox Valley Kayaks before 10:30am.  Comox Valley Kayaks is situated on the Courtenay River 20 meters from Start Line :)
  
• Renters can practice for $5 each during businnes hours anytime before the race! (practice must be under 3hrs)

IMPORTANT NOTES:

1.    There is a No Cancellation Policy for Snow To Surf Reservations (payment is non-refundable), payment is processed at the time the reservation is made.

2.    Ramming boats into boat launches and dragging boats over gravel will result in severe damage to Kayaks, damage occurring during rental period is the responsibility of the renter.

3.    Kayaks are selected fort renters based on height, weight and skill level.  Boats will be selected on a first come first serve basis.
